Brief Bio:

·         Prof. Israr is currently working as President, Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria. Earlier he was the Vice-Chancellor Mewar International University Masaka, Nasarawa State, Federal Republic of Nigeria. Before joining the Mewar International University, he was with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Poornima College of Engineering, Jaipur in Rajasthan as a Professor, Dr. Mohammad Israr also worked as a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sur University College, Sur, Sultanate of Oman.  Earlier, he was the Principal at Dungarpur College of Engineering and Technology, Dungarpur, Rajasthan, India, and also at Balaji Engineering College, Junagadh, Gujarat, India. He has published around 90 research papers in various reputed national, international journals and conferences.

·         He is the first faculty in the history of Sur University College, Sur, Sultanate of Oman who registered and published the Patent. He has also published 34 patents, 10 books, and one article published in Infraline Energy Magazine. He supervised ten candidates for their doctoral (Ph.D.) degrees and also supervised 3 candidates for Master's Degree. Apart from these, he reviewed 12 Ph.D. thesis, 03 Master thesis, and 250 research papers.

·         Presently he is also associated as an Editorial Board Member in reputed more than 300 national and International Journals.  For his extraordinary contribution to the field of Mechanical Engineering, he received two awards namely “The outstanding Researcher award in Mechanical Engineering and the Young Scientist Award. He has also chaired the session as a Session Chair, Speaker, and International Technical Committee in many national or International Conferences. He is also a member of various technical and professional bodies such as SCIEI- USA, IAENG- Hongkong, AAIR- USA, IFERP-India, IETA-India, ISTE- India.

·         According to the  Intellectual Property report 2018, [In Overview of IP filing activity, Table 1. Ranking of the l (resident and abroad) IP filing activity by origin, 2018], Page number 8], a total of 12 patents have been filed from India, out of which 5 patents have been filed by Dr. Israr.
